Myself and various like minded designers were approached by a client of Southern Arkansas University to redesign the logo used for the Southern Arkansas Sustainability Conference, otherwise known as SOAR. We were given the task of designing a new logo that tackles one of the sustainability goals from the group’s examples of sustainability.
For my design, I focused on the Economic Growth goal. To paint this picture, an arrow was designed with blue and green colors to represent a graph bar increasing, along with having an outline of the state of Arkansas beside it with the acronym SOAR written beside it with red and blue. It was designed in Adobe Illustrator and was a strong contender to be used as the new logo.
