FF Meta is a typeface that was created by German typographer, Erik Spiekermann and to highlight both, I designed a magazine spread that could be easily seen in a real magazine. It features the story of Spiekermann and how he created the typeface that would get just as much acclaim as another typeface, Helvetica.
The story is on the left page, while the type specimen that I typed up, which shows the different styles of FF Meta, is on the right. I also show a full bleed image of Spiekermann himself, along with a quote that best represents him as a designer. It was created utilizing Adobe InDesign.
